We are thankful that you are willing to partner with Neighbor’s Love. It is because of you generosity that we are able to provide for these children.
Munch Bunch
Neighbor’s Love began helping children with snacks. During the school day there is a snack time allotted. Not all of the children in schools come from homes that are able to provide extra snack items. Some of these children try to save items from their lunch to eat at a later time or even take home to siblings. We started purchasing snack items and dividing it up in gallon sized bags. When a student was in need of snacks, they would come get a bag to keep in their locker. When the bag gets empty, they come and refill it. Our desire is that no child will go without food. When children have what they need, they are able to perform better in school. Children who experience food insecurity are at a higher risk of developing asthma, struggling with anxiety or depression, and performing poorly in school or physical activities. Suds & Duds
We feel that hygiene is important to a Child’s health and wellness. It helps them to feel good and have less anxiety.
Our goal is to ensure children have the necessities to maintain good oral hygiene and cleanliness.
Stylin’ & Profilin’ Kids Style
This program provides essential clothing and seasonal items children need.
A teacher told me a story of a child who showed up for class with the toes cut off of the shoes because the child had out grown them and didn’t have the money for another pair.
We have seen too many children with poor fitting and/or damaged clothes. Some children have been wearing inappropriate clothing for the weather. Our goal is to keep children clean and provide the necessary clothing to keep them comfortable and protected.
Making Spirits Bright
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The opportunity to show love to others by giving to friends and family. To show how much we care and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.
As a child growing up I wasn’t always blessed to have a big Christmas; but we always had a gift. It saddens us to know that there are children who go without a single gift.
“Adopting” a child for Christmas can inspire a sense of giving in your own children.
